Deep in the jungle of Huelo, Hawai’i, lives a place full of magic. A place where vibrant fruits grow plump from their branches, flowers blossom brightly on their vines, while doves sing their song. Where rays of golden sun shine between rain drops and leaves shine and shake in the wind. Where waterfalls pour out of cliff sides into the teal waves of the ocean, rolling rocks into smooth, water-worn ‘ili ‘ili. Rainbows gate this land and heavy, healing mana seeps out of the ‘aina itself. Named for the mystical, lost Pacific continent itself. Here, I collected sweet rainwater in my mouth, let my ‘awapuhi-soaked locks flow in the vetiver scented trade-winds and calloused my young, bare feet dancing on the fertile earth. I picked every guava and lilikoi, pestled every leaf and lathered my skin, even if just to get a little closer to these powerful elements. I prayed. I listened. During my final days at Mu, I devoted. I reverently studied Hawaiian Healing with kupuna and native healers, validating everything Mu had taught me. So with Mu’s guidance, I co-created. But first, I vowed to capture this essence as sensorially and ethically as I possibly could – and when I thought that was enough, to go beyond. Knowing a place as pure as they come, I vowed that every single ingredient would be 100% pure, sustainably sourced, fully natural, and only organic. I vowed that each product be handcrafted and enveloped in eco-friendly, recycled and recyclable packaging. And beyond being as conscientious as possible, I vowed to give back.*
