2025 was a year of CULTIVATION.
Not a year of loud wins.
Not a year of overnight results.
But a year of root work.
Personally, 2025 stretched me, refined my patience, sharpened my discipline, and reminded me that growth happens long before it’s visible. I learned to trust the process, protect my energy, and move with intention instead of urgency.
For Counter Punch Youth Academy, this was a year of laying foundations, strengthening programs, deepening partnerships, planting seeds in schools and communities, and preparing for what’s next. Every lesson, every student, every conversation added to the soil.
Cultivation isn’t glamorous, but it’s necessary.
And because of 2025, we’re ready to grow in 2026. 🌾🥊

Yesterday was an honor to return to my alma mater, Trevecca Nazarene University and speak to the Sales Fundamentals class. Standing in the very place where my own journey began reminded me how far faith, grit, and discipline can take you.
Thank you to Dr. Phillips for the invite and to every student who showed up, engaged, and added energy to the room. Your willingness to participate made the experience powerful.
Keep pushing forward. The seeds you plant today will be the success you speak about tomorrow.

Nashville! I’m excited to be with you guys October 20-24. Come down to the gym and work with me. I’ll be teaching 3 classes. As I get older I’m learning to embrace nature more. I’m also learning embrace peace of mind and the company of myself. I love the fact that I chose not to live my life or allow my mood to be affected from things on social media. In this world we all are battling our own demons.
How do you not only fight your demons, but how do you defeat your demons?
For anyone who needs to hear it. Continue to fight “YOUR” Fight, spend less time on this social media world because most people only post their good few minutes out of 24 hours, Gods timing is perfect timing so embrace the process.

Hey family. We been a little quiet on social media lately. Been putting in work low key. As we progress and move Pn’B forward we are entering in a phase of “RE” Branding to prepare for expansion. The
”RE” Brand will include New Coaches which in turn will allow us to have “MORE” Classes for adults and for the kids. We will be expanding into Sponsorship and promotional deals with “Active” competitive boxers that we see potential in. The “RE” Brand will allow us to continue to be the authentic boxing / fitness gym but with more structure and Community. More details to come in the near future.
What We Need:
1. Graphic Designer:
We are looking for a graphic designer for a few projects for our new unisex apparel line. We are looking for a long term relationship with the company.
2. Apparrel Company:
We are looking for a apparel company that’s convenient, dependable and has the proper garments we need. We are looking for a long term relationship with the company.
We are going to update all of punching bags so the two that are attached for anyone who has been in a boxing gym which brand out of the two do you prefer?

Great Episode
Loyalty is definitely hard to come by in leadership. Being in this fitness / boxing business for 10+ years I’ve seen a lot. I’ve been burned and manipulated by people but it made me stronger. I’m a loyal person but a fault at times so this episode hit home. My take away from today’s episode.
1. As a leader if you have loyal people you can build a team, grow your business& change the world.
2. Loyalty is not for sale: some people are only loyal to the next opportunity or the highest bidder. Opportunities aren’t a bad thing for growth but be weary of those who jump on every opportunity.
3. Consistency: some people start out strong and then they fade away. As a leader stay consistent and your team will do the same. Constantly pushing forward with you versus pulling away.
4. Honesty: loyal people tell the truth and not half truths. Loyal people don’t manipulate the truth. Some people are so use to getting away with dishonesty.
5. Faithful: faithful people know how to serve and seed. You can’t elevate people who are unfaithful. Always present to things of the company. Faithfulness matters.
6. Loyal people defend: they will defend when the leader is not around. They stand up for the house, the business, the visionary.
7. Honor: Find people who don’t violate trust. Watch how the honorable celebrate you PUBLICLY! They always honor others but not you in public. Watch those people. They may respect you but not honor you. Not worship You but honor you.
