Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and reclaim your peace with each soothing inhale and exhale. ✨
Step into serenity with Square Breathing! 🌬️✨
1️⃣ Inhale: Start by breathing in slowly and deeply through your nose. Feel the air fill your lungs as you count to four in your mind.
2️⃣ Hold: Hold that breath in for another count of four. Embrace the stillness and let the air linger within.
3️⃣ Exhale: Release the breath slowly and steadily through your mouth, counting to four once again. Empty your lungs completely.
4️⃣ Pause: After exhaling, pause for another count of four. Embrace the peaceful stillness before beginning the next cycle.
Repeat this Square Breathing pattern for a few minutes, allowing your mind and body to synchronize with the calming rhythm.
Let the tranquility flow in each breath.

Manifestation requires energy.
It might not surprise you to know how often we find ourselves talking to strangers about their challenges with sleep, but even we were surprised at how often that conversation becomes one about fading dreams.
The thing about exhaustion… our brains just don’t work as well without sleep, and the dreams we have for life seem to stay dreams… or worse… they slip into nightmares.
The cycle is tough to break, and it’s not anyone’s fault…
So today, be kind to yourself and others - work hard - eat well.
And at the end of it?
Give yourself the grace to disconnect from whatever happened during the waking hours… and rest.
Rest well.

✨ sleep is sacred ✨
Practice with intention. Really. Letting poor sleep habits go on and on is not of my destructive to your mind and body, it can also have an effect on the heart and soul of your relationships. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to male sure your patience, determination, and resiliency are renewed.
But it’s not easy. We live in a society that values hustle and aspiration. With more employers sending people back to the office, we see the divide of personal and professional lives going back up. And with that, priorities like health and well-being decrease.
Why? High performers just perform better when they are given - or give themselves - grace to live and sleep and work in equal measure.
For us autistic creative technologists, this is especially true. Without balance? Things can get…intense.
We can’t change that. We can’t change the needs of our clients and projects any more than we can change your commute.
What we could - and did - change is our own bedtime rituals. Some of the adjustments we’ve made to help maximize the 8 hours we spend in bed:
1️⃣ a hot shower 1 hour before bedtime. This raises the core temperature and as the body cools down in the same way it does when we fall asleep. It’s like getting a head start on sleepiness
2️⃣ screen time… this is hard, but we try to put the phone down at least 30 minutes before crawling between the covers.
3️⃣ aromatherapy… in a diffuser or a DREAM ROLLER. With five awesome moods made with organic and all natural ingredients, it’s like playing dress up for a journey into dreamland.
