AWARE Hair takes the Big Apple 🍎
A few days of scalp care, beauty conversations, industry inspiration, and a little city magic.
From launching at the iconic to exhibiting at , meeting new friends in beauty, and taking in the kind of creative energy only New York can give - this trip was such a special chance to share what we’ve been building!
Seeing the excitement in person was incredibly meaningful for our small mother-daughter owned brand. Over 500 people signed up for our C.O. Bigelow event, and at one point, there was a line out the door. We were so grateful to meet so many of you, introduce the ritual, and hear your stories firsthand.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried AWARE, brought a friend, asked thoughtful questions, and welcomed us into New York so warmly.
Can’t wait to be back soon!

Building a salon-first scalp care brand is not always the easy route.
It asks you to move slower, protect the professional, educate deeply, and build trust one partner at a time.
But AWARE was born in the salon — from real stylists, real clients, and a very personal understanding of what hair loss, scalp health, and safer care can mean.
Thank you to Hype Magazine for sharing our founder Tina’s story and the mission behind AWARE.
We’re so proud to continue building for our salon partners and the clients they care for every day
We are incredibly excited to be partnering with the iconic C.O. Bigelow, America’s oldest apothecary, to bring AWARE’s scalp care ritual to Greenwich Village in NYC.
To celebrate, we’ll be in store all day on May 20th with samples, special gifts, merch, and exclusive giveaways.
What began as something we created with love, high standards, and the belief that the care you give yourself matters is now finding its way onto the shelves of one of the most beloved apothecaries in the world.
NYC, we can’t wait to see you!

Scalp reset day with ✨
A little late for Mother’s Day, but I didn’t want to let the day pass without honoring my mom and all the amazing mothers who honestly deserve so much more than just one day.
The older I get, the more I realize how hard it is to be a mother.
Not just in the obvious ways, but in the invisible ones. The early mornings. The long days. The decisions no one sees. The dreams put on hold. The strength it takes to keep giving when you are tired, worried, or still figuring life out yourself.
Growing up, I didn’t understand the sacrifice. I just knew I felt loved.
Now I see it differently. I see a woman who was carrying her own worries, hopes, exhaustion, and dreams — and still made my world feel safe and full.
In many ways, that is the same love AWARE was built from. She created it first for me — to help solve the hair issues I was struggling with — but also from everything she had seen after a lifetime in salons. She knew people deserved better. Stylists deserved better. And she was never willing to compromise on the things that mattered: safety, quality, performance, care.
That has always been her way. Do it properly. Do it with purpose. Do it with love. Even when it is harder. Especially when it is harder.
And now, somehow, we get to build this next chapter together. Something that started as a mother trying to help her daughter has become something we get to share with so many others.
Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, and to all the mothers who give more than they take, who love in ways that often go unseen, and who spend their lives making other people feel held.

Not just in the obvious ways, but in the quiet, invisible ones. The early mornings. The long days. The decisions no one sees. The dreams put on hold. The strength it takes to keep giving when you are tired, worried, or still figuring life out yourself.
Growing up, my mom was just Mom. My best friend. The person who woke up at 2 a.m. to go to work, while I tried to stay awake just so I could go with her. The person who took extra clients so I could join the tennis team. The person who drove me to school at 5:45 in the morning for tutoring and still somehow made me lunch.
At the time, I didn’t understand the weight of it. I just knew I felt loved.
Now I see it differently. I see a woman who was carrying her own worries, hopes, exhaustion, and dreams — and still made my world feel safe and full.

That kind of love changes you.
It makes me want to be softer. Braver. More generous. More willing to show up for people the way she always has.
Happy belated Mother’s Day to my mom, and to all the mothers who give more than they take, who love in ways that often go unseen, and who spend their lives making other people feel held.
I understand it more now. And I’m so grateful.
