Pact has been one of my go to brands for organic cotton basics for years. I just grabbed new leggings for myself AND my daughters.

Comment the word "shop" for the link.

Most of their clothing is made with organic cotton or natural fibers, but I always recommend checking the fabric label because some pieces do contain synthetics, especially for stretch.

I also love their GOTS certified organic cotton, Fair Trade Certified factories, and more thoughtfully considered packaging.

Is every piece perfect? No, but Pact continues to be one of my favorite places for more accessible, lower tox closet swaps.

I linked some of my current favorites + our new leggings on my LTK.

I love seeing big food companies take food quality and ingredient transparency seriously. 👏🏼

In-N-Out Burger® & Lynsi Snyder are making some meaningful changes, including removing Red 40 and Yellow 5, switching to turmeric and beta carotene for color, using real vanilla, moving away from high fructose corn syrup, and making additional updates to ingredients in its buns and cooking oils.

Is fast food suddenly health food? Of course not. But this is a really good move in the right direction, and I think companies deserve recognition when they make better choices.

More of this, please.

Those avocado oil chips might not actually contain authentic avocado oil. 🥑👀

A UC Davis study tested 28 avocado oil chip samples, and 26 failed authenticity testing. That’s 93%. 😳

Swipe for what they found, why it matters, and what we can do about it.

Save this for your next grocery run, share it with your avocado oil loving friends, and follow Low-Tox Living 🌿 for more ingredient deep dives. 🤍

My toxic trait? Trying to avoid toxic coffee. ☕

Finding Fabula mold free coffee at Sprouts was a grocery store win. No special order, no waiting, no shipping.

✔ USDA Organic

✔ Non GMO

✔ Fairly traded

✔ Single origin

I love that it’s USDA Organic, independently tested for 350+ contaminants, including pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, glyphosate, and mycotoxins, naturally low acid, and sourced from high altitude farms for a smooth cup.

Fabula is currently offering a Buy 2, Get 1 reimbursed promotion. Buy any two bags at Sprouts, submit your receipt, and Fabula will reimburse you for one bag.

Head to the link in my bio for all the details! ☕

Don’t come for me… come for your ingredient lists‼️

If you’ve been wanting to discover skincare beyond what’s on the shelves at stores, this is the event to attend.

I’ll be at the International Congress of Esthetics & Spa hanging out with Kaia Skin | Nervous System Skincare on August 23 and 24 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

Kaia Skin is one of my favorite small batch skincare brands, known for thoughtfully crafted formulas inspired by Ayurvedic traditions and botanical ingredients. Even better, the founder Kalpana will be there, so you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from the person behind the brand.

Whether you’re an esthetician, a skincare enthusiast, or simply trying to make more informed choices about the products you use, you’ll discover brands, attend educational sessions, and get to experience products firsthand.

If you’re planning to attend, make sure you stop by the Kaia Skin booth and say hi. We would love to meet you!

Date night called for a linen and cotton dress that’s lined with 100% cotton, which is hard to find. 🤍 Even better, it’s on sale! Comment the word "linen" and I'll send you the link.

True Food Kitchen in Pasadena. Between the clean ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and delicious food, this one definitely earned a spot on my Crunchy Places list.

🚨 Before You Eat Another Salad… Read This

With the current Cyclospora outbreak under investigation, these are the extra precautions I’m taking until we know more.

What I’m Choosing Instead

🌿 More homegrown food

🌿 Produce from trusted local farmers

🌿 Cooked vegetables

🌿 Homemade soups

🌿 Fruits with peels, bananas, oranges, avocados, melons, kiwi

🌿 Frozen and canned vegetables

🌿 Dried herbs

Remember: No specific brand or product has been confirmed as the source of this outbreak. These are simply the choices I’m making to reduce my risk while the investigation continues.

ETA: This isn’t medical advice or a list of foods confirmed to be contaminated. It’s simply what I’m personally choosing to do until more information becomes available.

Save this for your next grocery trip, and share it with someone who’d want to know.

A few low-tox and thoughtfully made finds that recently landed in my mailbox.

Some were gifted, some I purchased myself, but they all caught my attention for their ingredients, sustainability, or mission.

I’m always on the hunt for products that align with a healthier, more intentional lifestyle, and I love sharing new discoveries along the way.
