This day last year, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. What felt like my world falling apart became a season that changed me forever. One year later, I experienced one of the most magical moments in my brand’s history. Sometimes we don’t understand why life unfolds the way it does. But I’ve come to believe that our hardest seasons are often preparing us for something we never could have imagined. If you’re going through a difficult season right now, hold on. It’s just that—a season. Seasons change. Storms pass. And the flowers always bloom again.

Be patient with yourself. Give yourself grace. And most importantly, never stop believing in yourself.

What a journey! I met Doris (the leasing manager) at a kids playground randomly last year during my chemo treatment. She mentioned she does leasing for Caruso and if I ever needed anything. She planted a seed and I couldn’t get it out of my head. When the new year started and my treatment was over, I found this new excitement and passion towards life. I emailed her and told her I want to do a pop up at the Americana. From then on, ideas flourished, thoughts overflowed, planning, designing, creating, building and here we are. The outcome of this newfound passion I had, this lust for life, overpoured into this blossoming beautiful day. Some showed up for the excitement of the pop up, some showed up for our new collection and some showed up simple to, show up. Thank you for showing me that it was all worth it. 🙏🏼

I honestly don’t know how to express my gratitude for everyone who showed up yesterday—and for those who couldn’t make it, I know you had Elcie and me in your hearts. I was completely overwhelmed by the love and support. The turnout was beyond anything I could have imagined, and I’m still trying to process it all. Meeting each and every one of you filled my heart—the ones who shared their love for the products, the ones who shared their personal stories, and the ones who simply came to support me. I always say I have the best customers in the world, and I truly mean it. There is no community like ours. The love, loyalty, and kindness you continue to show me and Elcie after all these years is something I never take for granted. Words could never fully describe what I’m feeling in my heart today. Thank you for celebrating this milestone with me, for believing in my vision, and for being part of this journey. I love you all so much. 🤍
