“ Masseuse” has a negative connotation typically associated with illicit activities, so most (-if not all), licensed professionals preferred to be called ‘Massage therapist’ or LMT

I still want to find a way to learn more about navigating trauma within my scope of practice but I will not maintain eye contact for a session, sorry not sorry lol
