I’ve missed makeup ❤️
I don’t take for granted being a creative. I’m so fortunate to have found a profession that allows me to ebb & flow as life does. With that being said, Spring of 2025 broke me to my core. A traumatic family event left me in shambles & had me craving more time with my loved ones. I finished my scheduled weddings and have only done family & close friends events since. If I’m being totally transparent, it’s been nice. I got the time I was so desperately craving. My family & I have done more traveling together, I’ve been on time to all of my nieces & nephews birthdays, and I haven’t missed a single baseball game. I’ve been present, in the moment, and truly soaking it all in. I’ve needed this break- I feel more like myself than I probably ever have, I’ve been able to do makeup creatively without social media pressure, and I’ve perfected my craft in my off time. After 9 years in the wedding industry this is exactly what I needed and as nice as it’s been to be able to fully serve my family, (I’m a homeschool mom so the serving is non stop 🤪 lol) I miss my girls. So here I am, coming back to a place that in an odd kind of way, feels like home. And I’m excited, super excited (and so are my kids lol I think they need a break from me just as much as the vice versa.)
So with all that being said, my books are open! Here we go, again 💛
