ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

After 15 years of doing hair I have made the difficult decision to step away from behind the chair. I have loved building relationships with all of my guests and making you all feel beautiful inside and out, but the reality is I want to be home with my children on evenings and weekends. To do this I have accepted a new job as a paraprofessional at Cascade Elementary in Marysville.

Due to this my wonderful salon is now hiring! If you know someone who is just finishing up cosmetology school or is just starting their career please let them know about Style Studio! Amanda and Savannah are wonderful human beings to work with and can help continue your education in this industry. Please message me if you have any questions.

Lighting is everything!! ✨
These photos were taken seconds apart, in the same room, the only difference is that one was taken using a studio light. This is very important to remember when showing your stylists photos, because photos may be edited, filtered, taken using professional lighting, or all of the above. It’s also important to note that just like these two photos, your hair is always going to look different in different places. It’s never going to look the same outside as it will inside, and it may even look different in your bathroom and your kitchen, or in your car versus in direct sunlight. Always keep this in mind when leaving the salon!

This blue was created with a custom mix of blues and I’m in love with how it turned out. My personal favorite is the lighter blue money spot falling over the top.

Chop chop! ✂️✂️ I love a silver pixie. We had been trying to grow it out since the shut down and today she decided she was done. And I love this sassiness on her!
