Summer is one of the most popular seasons to get Botox — and there's no reason it shouldn't be. But there are a few things worth knowing before you book. 💉✨

Does heat affect Botox?
Yes, slightly. Extreme heat in the first 24 hours can cause the product to migrate or metabolize slightly faster. Avoid intense workouts, saunas, and prolonged sun exposure the day of your appointment.

Does sweating affect results?
For some clients, increased sweating in summer can shorten how long Botox lasts. Staying hydrated and protecting your skin from the sun helps extend your results significantly.

What about timing?
Botox takes 3–7 days to fully settle. If you have a big event — wedding, vacation, reunion — book at least 2 weeks out so you have time to see your results and request any touch-ups if needed.

The frozen face myth:
When Botox is placed correctly by a skilled injector, it softens the movement that creates lines — it doesn't eliminate your ability to express yourself. You look like you, just more rested.
