It’s been a long time since I’ve stepped onto a set and created work like this… but looking back reminds me how much those experiences shaped the artist I am today.

The photoshoots. The creative teams. The pressure to think differently. The moments where there were no rules—just vision, technique, and creativity.

Every shoot pushed me outside of my comfort zone and taught me to see hair differently. This still influences the work I create behind the chair today.

WAIR Studio Salon had the privilege of hosting an incredible day of education with the amazingly talented Christopher Benson—and having a room filled with artists who were excited to learn, create and push themselves was everything.
