If doing the right thing scares and intimidates you, do it anyway. Bringing the new and cleaner color line into Roots was a big jump for us. Roots has been using the same color line for 16 years. I’ve felt the call to change the line for a while, and finally we made the leap. I’m one to resist change but I felt so strongly about this upgrade that I just couldn’t ignore it anymore. It’s an adjustment to learn and we are so grateful to our Roots family for trusting us with this decision. So far everyone has noticed a difference as there are no fumes (even with our other line there was an odor.) There is no odor with Color Purity and absolutely no sensation on the scalp! With this learning curve we are making adjustments along the way and it’s going great!! This was a cut and color I did today for one of our loyal clients and it was a success! Everyone is very different so it’s a very tailored process. Step by step, one color at a time, we are bringing a healthier option to our community. We are so grateful!!

Our Color Purity class with Angeleah from Innersense Organic beauty was a success!!! We are so excited about bringing this line into Roots and the results with our models were fantastic! The before and after client with light hair wanted a golden blonde and the other client with dark hair wanted to go back to her natural. This line has absolutely NO scent and both clients mentioned how it felt like nothing was on their scalp. No tingling, no burning, nothing! This is why we wanted to bring this upgrade to our community. A cleaner, safer option for everyone! The color also adds shine and conditioning. We are so grateful and excited about this opportunity! I love it when I get the younger crowd coming in! This lovely young lady comes down from Vermont often, and decided she would try highlights for the first time! She was using sun in before, which is very tough on the hair by the way. So we highlighted the regrowth and eventually the sun in will be cut out and she can continue with a natural looking blonde without a harsh demarcation line as it grows out. Such a sweet girl. Those Vermont people just hit differently. What a pleasure to take care of her hair!

Our training is coming up on August 6 and from there we will be transitioning into this conscious color line, bringing an even cleaner, safer option for our Roots family and staff.
