Clients and potential clients please watch out for a scam account that is posing as our tattoo artist/ stylist Beauty by Abby at Studio 304 on TikTok. They are stealing her videos and are posting them so that clients will send them deposits for fake appointments. This fake account has also made an email with the beautybyabby handle where they discuss pricing with clients. They are very believable. There has already been one instance of someone giving them money and showing up for an appointment that was not booked with Abby. She has tried disputing with TikTok to get the account taken down to no avail. There is really nothing else we can do besides spread the word. Please be careful!
Common ways to spot fake accounts:
-their videos have no captions
—video visual quality is poor
-videos have all been posted within a day or two of each other or in clusters
-they don’t have very many videos
-they message you FIRST for an appointment
