Yesterdays Client Appreciation Event was beyond what I could’ve asked for.
Three years of Evergreen, and getting to spend part of that milestone with so many of you who’ve been sitting in my chair since day one. Some of you have watched this space grow from what it used to be into what it is now, and I don’t take that for granted.
The sound bath with Kalynn at the end was the perfect way to close things out. If you stayed for that and felt those good vibes, I’m so glad you got to experience it.
Thank you for showing up, for prebooking out for the rest of the year, and for just being part of this whole thing. Here’s to year 4, and many more to come.

Think your curls are just “frizzy” by nature? Sometimes it’s just about the right routine.
Kayla’s transformation started with a clarifying cleanse and repair conditioner, followed by a deep treatment mask, then Trybe’s curl creme, foam, and gel, diffused for that bounce.
Same hair but now a totally different curl pattern. Drop a 🌀 if you want the full product breakdown.
Looking back at all the hair this month and I’m just so grateful.
Long layers, loose beachy waves, curl refreshes that made me stop and stare, every single style reminded me why I fell in love with hair in the first place. No two curl patters are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me excited to do this every day.
What really means the most, though, is you trusting me with your hair in the first place. That’s not something I take for granted, ever.
Thank you to everyone who let me take care of your curls this month!
Today we did the whole sha-bang for Brooke!
Start to finish 🌱
I refreshed her highlights to bring in some dimension throughout, followed by a color melt. The color melt creates a beautiful transition from root to tip by blending her natural sparkles right into the highlights. This is genuinely one of my favorite techniques because of how soft the grow-out ends up looking.
We can’t forget the relaxing scalp massage during the conditioning (my favorite part, honestly her favorite too).
After that, we refreshed her haircut, styled it with a blow-dry, and did a little photoshoot to wrap it all up! 🫧
This is what a full service looks like around here.
A plan built around what her hair actually needed. ✨
What’s your favorite part of a full-service appointment?

Allison came in looking for a simple clean-up cut, but wanted a little more oomph than she’s gotten at previous salons.
We went with long layers to add movement without losing her length. Same hair, just better. That soft, bouncy shape makes such a difference.

Summer came in with beautiful length, but her curls were hiding under frizz and flatness on top.
Turns out she was scrunching product into the bottom of her hair and missing the top completely, an easy fix once we found it! We added layers, got her products dialed in (Healium, Coil Curl Cream, Uptown Gel), and now those curls are popping from root to end.
Small changes can make a big difference.

Susanna came in ready for a big chop. Her hair was already in good shape; she just wanted a routine that actually fit her curls.
We talked about how washing effects the outside layer of your hair (that’s the cuticle) depending on what you use and how you use it. Kind of a big deal, and most people never think about it.
She asked how often she should wash. My answer: a clean scalp matters more than sticking to a strict schedule. Life gets busy, and that’s fine. What actually helps is knowing how to make each wash and condition count.
Her new lineup: Maria Nila Cleanse once a month, MN Structure Repair, Nouvelle Curl Me Up Hydrating Masque, Trybe Curl Defining Creme, MN Styling Mousse, Trybe Texture Gel, diffused to finish.
Swipe for the before and after.
By the end of summer, your hair has been through it. Sunscreen, sweat, salt, chlorine… It’s all just sitting there. 🥴
Here’s my quick reset: start with the Maria Nila Purifying Cleanse Shampoo to break up all that buildup, then follow with a regular shampoo and a Maria Nila booster mask. Your hair is going to feel so happier after this.
