One quote from massage school stayed with me for 13+ years:

“If it doesn’t feel good under your hands… it probably doesn’t feel good to the client.” - Jessica Boggs

Simple.

But powerful.

Too many therapists learn techniques…

Then stop evolving.

The goal isn’t to memorize routines.

The goal is to develop awareness.

Not every technique works on every body.

Not every angle works.

Not every pressure works.

The best therapists constantly adapt.

Constantly learn.

Constantly refine their touch.

Every client should teach you something.

Every session is practice.

Never stop improving your craft.

That’s how you separate yourself from average. 🔥

Most people think hot stone massage is just…

“Put the stones on the back and let them sit there.”

Nope. 😂

There are LEVELS to hot stone work.

The way I use hot stones isn’t random.

It’s strategic.

Heat + pressure + flow + timing + coordination.

One forearm working deep into the muscle…

One hand chasing behind with constant heat from the stone…

Creating tension relief and deep relaxation AT THE SAME TIME.

This is why mastering your craft matters.

The little details separate average work from unforgettable work.

Hot stones aren’t just an add-on.

When used properly…

They become ART. 🔥

Question:

Have you ever had a hot stone massage before?

And did your therapist actually USE the stones… or just place them on your back? 👀👇

Everybody has a sad story.

Some people just hide theirs better than others.

The older I get, the more I realize healing isn’t only about recovering from what hurt us.

It’s also about learning what aligns with us.

What gives us peace.

What gives us energy.

What helps us feel like ourselves again.

Sometimes the greatest form of self-care isn’t adding something new.

It’s removing what no longer belongs.

The people.
The habits.
The environments.
The expectations.
The patterns.

Life is already going to bring challenges.

Don’t make it harder by fighting against your own nature.

Learn yourself.

Trust yourself.

Honor yourself.

Alignment changes everything. 💙

Question:

What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself in the last few years that brought you more peace?

👇 I’d love to hear your answer.

Therapists...

You are NOT supposed to be for everybody.

Read that again.

You are NOT supposed to be for everybody.

Some clients love extremely light pressure.
Some want nervous system work.
Some want stretching.
Some want sports massage.
Some want deep tissue so deep they think you’re training for the UFC. 😂

The goal isn’t to attract everyone.

The goal is to attract YOUR people.

YOUR tribe.

The clients who naturally benefit from what you do best.

The moment I stopped trying to be everything to everybody...

My practice became more fulfilling.

My marketing became easier.

And my confidence grew.

Stop asking:

“How can I attract everybody?”

Start asking:

“Who am I uniquely built to serve?”

👇 Massage therapists:

What’s YOUR specialty? What’s YOUR tribe?

Everybody can learn the same techniques.

Everybody can take the same classes.

Everybody can get the same certification.

But eventually...

You have to develop YOU.

Your style.
Your signature.
Your identity.
Your energy.

What separates you from everybody else?

That’s where your power lives.

That’s where your influence lives.

That’s where your impact lives.

People don’t remember average.

People remember experiences.

They remember how you made them feel.

So stop trying to fit in.

Master your craft.

Learn from everybody.

But don’t become everybody.

Become YOU. 🔥

Question:

What do you think separates YOU from everyone else in your profession?

The truth is...

Money has never been my biggest motivation.

Impact is.

One day my time here will be up, just like everyone else’s.

When that day comes, I won’t be thinking about how many hours I worked or how many dollars I made.

I’ll be thinking about the people.

The lives I touched.
The conversations we had.
The pain we helped relieve.
The hope we restored.
The moments that reminded somebody they mattered.

That’s why I take my work so seriously.

Not because it’s massage.

Because it’s PEOPLE.

Every person who walks through my door has a story.

A struggle.
A responsibility.
A family.
A dream.
A burden they’re carrying.

And for a little while, our paths cross.

My goal is simple:

Leave people better than I found them.

If I can help somebody breathe easier...
Think clearer...
Feel lighter...
Believe in themselves again...

Then that’s a day well spent.

That’s the kind of wealth that matters to me.

🙏🏽💙

Question:

What kind of impact do you want to leave behind in this world?

👇 I’d genuinely love to hear your answer.

A lot of massage therapists are burning themselves out early trying to FORCE pressure.

I learned early in my career that clients asking for “more pressure” never really ends if force is your only tool.

My hands got so bad at one point I could barely flex my fingers.

That pain forced me to adapt.

Flow.
Leverage.
Forearms.
Body mechanics.
Movement.

Those things changed my career completely.

13+ years later and my body still feels strong because I learned to work SMARTER instead of harder 💆🏽‍♂️🔥

People ask me all the time:

“Why do you use hot stones without charging extra?”

Simple.

Because when a client tells me they’re stressed, overwhelmed, dealing with neck pain, shoulder tension, headaches, low back pain, tired legs, or exhausted feet...

My job is to think of SOLUTIONS.

Not limitations.

You aren’t paying me for hot stones.

You’re paying me for my time, my experience, my attention to detail, and my ability to help you feel better.

If I know something can help you relax deeper, release tension faster, and improve your results...

Why would I hold it back?

That’s the philosophy behind my Custom Swedish Massage.

Every session is tailored to YOU.

Every session is built around what YOU need.

The hot stones aren’t replacing the massage.

They’re enhancing it.

Amplifying it.

Helping me create an experience that leaves you feeling lighter, calmer, looser, and more restored than when you walked in.

The goal isn’t to do the bare minimum.

The goal is to help you feel amazing.

💆🏽‍♂️🔥

Question:

Would you rather pay extra for every little add-on...

Or work with someone who uses every tool available to help you get the best possible result?

👇 Let me know in the comments.

I’ve been getting reviews since I was a massage student.

Not because I wanted a bunch of stars...

Because I wanted FEEDBACK.

Reviews help you:

✅ Improve your craft
✅ Build confidence
✅ Identify blind spots
✅ Build trust
✅ Grow your business
✅ Document your journey

The best professionals never stop asking:

“What can I do better?”

13+ years later, I’m still asking.

Because mastery isn’t about knowing everything.

It’s about staying teachable.
