It's Happening Tomorrow !
August 12, 2026 could be an unforgettable day for skywatchers. Three major celestial events will take place around the same date: a total solar eclipse, the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, and a six-planet alignment featuring Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

🌑 Total Solar Eclipse: Greatest eclipse occurs at about 17:47 UTC. The total phase will be visible along a narrow path across parts of Greenland, Iceland, Russia and Spain.

🌠 Perseid Meteor Shower: The Perseids peak around August 12–13, with dark, moonless skies providing favorable conditions for meteor watching. Under ideal conditions, the shower can produce up to around 100 meteors per hour.

🪐 Six-Planet Alignment: Before sunrise, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will appear spread across the morning sky, creating a striking planetary lineup.
