The hardest pill I’ve had to swallow this past year.

God never promised I would be a wife. Is it a want - yes. But never guaranteed.

As I accept this, I continue to be thankful and blessed. I’m excited to see where my life will go.

Sometimes I can tell when I’m just fitting a box.

Oh you have a house? A job? Go to church?

And then I’m instantly supposed to date and focus on them.

But what do you know about me…? What do I bring?

I know this works both ways so don’t even say “women do it too”.

Ya girly is back dating & this time with intention.

I am pretty open with my faith & single journey here. I’ve also been very vocal about never going on apps…

Yet I know that while everything is God’s timing, I can’t just sit in my house & think my forever will swoop in.

Idk what it is but I’m like not going to spend all day on that app. I still am living my life - I don’t need the negative energy 😂
