AI is changing the creative industry fast. It can help artists brainstorm, speed up certain workflows, and make ideas easier to explore. But the conversation also comes with concerns about originality, copyright, creative ownership, and what happens when technology starts replacing the human touch.

And honestly? I’m not scared of it. 😂 Because my creativity was never dependent on a computer. The vision, the hands-on artistry, the lashes, the styling, the details, the concepts, the problem-solving and the ability to turn an idea into something REAL? That comes from me.

Technology can assist an artist, but it cannot become the artist. It can generate an image, but it doesn’t have MY imagination. It doesn’t have MY experiences. It doesn’t have MY eye. It doesn’t have 8+ years of building, creating, experimenting and figuring s**t out.

So while the world is asking, “Will AI replace creatives?” I’m over here asking, “What can I create next?” 🖤⚡️

The Lash Underground isn’t competing with technology. We’re proving what happens when creativity refuses to be replaced.

I created The AI Takeover campaign to explore the growing tension between technology and human creativity. As AI continues to change the creative industry, I wanted to create a visual statement about what makes an artist irreplaceable: vision, imagination, skill, emotion, and the ability to bring an idea to life with your own hands. This campaign isn’t about being afraid of the future. It’s about reminding artists that technology may evolve, but your creativity, your identity, and your artistry are yours. 🖤🤖⚡️

What if the machines really are taking over?
AI is getting smarter by the day. It can create images. It can create people. It can create entire worlds in seconds.
And honestly? That s**t is scary. 😭🤖

Because for artists, creatives, photographers, makeup artists, hairstylists, lash artists, designers, graphic designers and everyone who makes something from nothing…

It can feel like the thing we spent years perfecting could suddenly be replicated with a few words and a click.

But here’s what I want every artist to remember:
DON’T LET THE MACHINE MAKE YOU FORGET WHAT YOUR HANDS CAN DO.

AI can imitate an aesthetic. It can study an image.
It can recreate a concept. But it cannot replace the gift that was placed in YOUR hands.

It doesn’t have your years of practice.
Your creativity.
Your instincts.
Your imperfections.
Your personal style.
Your ability to look at something and see what nobody else sees.
And it definitely doesn’t have your hands.

These lashes weren’t generated. They weren’t typed into existence. They were imagined, designed, constructed, adjusted, and HANDMADE.

That’s the part AI can’t take from me. And that’s the part I don’t want YOU to let it take from you either.

Technology can evolve…
BUT A GIFTED HAND IS STILL A GIFTED HAND. 👑
They’ll never replace the artists who know how to create with their own hands.

And as long as these hands can create…

The world is changing FAST.

AI can generate a face.
AI can generate a body.
AI can generate a fantasy.
AI can create an entire world with one prompt.

But AI still can’t replace the hands, imagination, precision, and artistry behind the artist. So I decided to create a world where AI is taking over… but there’s one thing it still can’t replicate: ME. 🦾

Welcome to THE AI TAKEOVER.
A futuristic editorial concept exploring what happens when technology meets human artistry. And while the final images may look like they came straight out of the future, the lashes?

⏱️ 3.5 HOURS.
3.5 hours of planning.
3.5 hours of designing.
3.5 hours of constructing and executing these custom lash strips by hand.

Every piece was intentionally created to complement the character, the makeup, the styling, and the story.

I’m TAV, and I didn’t create Art of the Misfits just to produce another photoshoot. I created it for every artist who has ever been told they were doing too much, thinking too big, dressing too differently, or refusing to follow the formula.

Because I was never meant to fit into this industry.
I was meant to disrupt it.

I’m an innovator. A trendsetter. A creative director. A lash artist who refuses to believe lashes should begin and end with a basic set. I turn fibers into characters, faces into canvases, and ideas into entire worlds.

This campaign represents individuality, neurodivergence, rebellion, fashion, diversity, and the freedom to create without asking permission. Every Misfit was chosen to show that what makes you different is exactly what makes you unforgettable.

And that is what The Lash Underground is all about.

It’s bigger than lashes. It’s where beauty collides with streetwear, anime, rockstar energy, graffiti, photography, fashion, education, and unapologetic self-expression. It’s a home for artists who color outside the lines, then redesign the entire page. We are not chasing trends down here…

And this campaign? Consider it a sneak peek into the world I’ve been quietly building. New creations. New experiences. New levels of artistry. A few doors are about to open, but I’m not telling y’all what’s behind them just yet. 👀
