Speaking of lost art, what happened to Sunday dinners!? 🥘🥧🥤
Most of my generation grew up having Sunday dinners at grandmas house. It's apparent that as their generation has passed on and with the state of the economy, Sunday dinners have become a rarity today. Some families may go out to eat after church on Sundays and that's equally as amazing!

This is your reminder to plan a sunday dinner for your family soon! It's good for the soul. It's so important for you to connect with family even if it's not every Sunday. ✨🌱🧘🏾‍♀️🫶🏾

When's the last time you and your family had Sunday dinner at the house?

The good things that matter in life. 🫂🥰🫶🏾🌱💕

I'm ginger now thanks to and I absolutely love it here 🥰🥂‼️

It's really nothing better than getting your hair done but this color...... She definitely ATE!!!

It's time to bring photo albums back!!!

Today it's so easy to just hold all of our memories online on our Facebook and Instagram, but what happens if they go away?

This is your reminder to bring back photo albums. Print out those pics from your FB and IG and put them in a photo album for safe keeping, so you can tell your children about that one time at band camp 😂.

One of the things I've learned since becoming a mom, is that you need some time away every now and again to do things for yourself. So, that's what I'm doing today.
Come with me to my wax appt. & to have dinner with my BFF 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I'm a sucker for a live album!!!
I stumbled across Alex Isley 's NPR performance and realized it was on Apple music, so now I listen to it to set the tone for my day.
Alex has the voice of an angel. It's impossible to ride to work, listen to any of her music and still have a bad morning.

P.S.: Can more artists PLEASE start dropping the live version of their albums more, like my girl JoJo did when she dropped "Good to Know"? I'm still waiting on Jazmine Sullivan to drop the live version of Heaux Tales but that's another story for another time lol

There is beauty in simple moments throughout life!

On my lunch break, I saw a gentleman across the street cutting the grass at The Capital. I must have been watching him in awe & amazement for like 15 minutes before I recorded.

S/o to all of the landscapers, lawn care providers, and grounds maintenance workers out there who take their time and unknowingly create art everyday. Somewhere someone is watching you and regulating their nervous system. 💕💐🫶🏾🫡🥂

I challenge you to do something you wouldn't normally do today. Doing something different and creativity go hand in hand more than you think.

I believe it helps you to expand the possibilities of any outcome you're looking for. So switch it up today. Take the bus instead of driving. go to the grocery store in the middle of the week instead of the beginning, wear heels to work when you would normally wear flats or tennis shoes & vice versa.

On this Labor Day, I'm thanking God for my little family we've created. I'm thankful that when we clock out, we make the most of our free time making memories with babygirl. I'm thankful that we put ourselves 1st before anything else.
This is your reminder to carve out some time from your day and spend it doing something everyone loves. 20 minutes, 30 minutes, etc. 🥂🫶🏾🤞🏾💕

Sometimes on your lunch break, you have to step away and check in with yourself.
Your lunch break is the perfect time to journal and organize your thoughts. For me, it's when I can briefly separate work and personal life and really ask myself how I'm doing, what I need, what's bugging me, what am I struggling with, and what is my mind stuck on that's negative affecting work/personal life.
If you're reading this, I challenge you today to use your lunch break to write out whatever it is on your mind today. Any negative thoughts, positive thoughts, vocal thoughts, etc. 🌱✨
