When a sunflower falls into your plantain patch 😍

Plantain is such an amazing plant. Both the leaves and fronds are edible. For skin, it stops the itchiness from bug bites, helps with dry itchy patches, and I infuse it into almost all my products. I even use the salve as an under eye cream.

If you were at Victory Gardens this past weekend and saw the luffa gourd hanging out in the corner, she is peeled, washed, and drying now. And she is so pretty!

One of my favorite markets is happening THIS WEEKEND! Grab a delicious drink from their coffee shop, wander and shop from local small businesses, and enjoy some of the last gorgeous days of this year.

Cottonwood leaf buds are basking in the sun in their olive oil bath. There is just something about morning sun streaming through the windows.

Soon it will become salves and lotion bars all while smelling exactly like the Boise greenbelt on a hot summer day.

Vanilla Clove, Citrus Cedar (with a touch of cinnamon), and Pumpkin Pie are coming with me tonight for the Confluence Market in Hyde Park. The market runs from 5-9 at Sagebrush Collective.
