Another grey transition today! Moving away from a base color we added highs and lows that mimicked her natural growth. She wants to keep some warm blonds in the mix but this will require minimal maintenance moving forward.

It is easy to measure our lives by what we still don't have. A bigger home. More money. A better job. Another achievement. Social media can make that comparison even louder, convincing us that everyone else is somehow further ahead. Yet some of the greatest signs of a good life are often sitting quietly around us every day.

Having people who genuinely love you, a safe place to sleep, and food waiting on the table may feel ordinary when they are part of your routine. But these simple comforts represent security, connection, and care. Gratitude doesn't mean pretending that problems don't exist or abandoning your ambitions. It means recognizing what is already meaningful while continuing to build the life you want.

Sometimes we are doing better than our worried minds allow us to believe. There will always be another milestone to chase, but life is happening before we reach it. Look around occasionally. Appreciate the people beside you, the place you call home, and the ordinary moments you once hoped you would have. A rich life isn't always measured by how much we accumulate. Sometimes it is measured by how deeply we appreciate what is already here.
