Got the BEST FaceTime call of my life yesterday. My baby sister found her house in Miami and called to tell me it was official. SHE’S MOVING. 🥹

After 20 years of living apart, I get to have my sister, my best friend, and my partner in crime right here.

With everything I am building, I knew I needed someone exceptional beside me. So I started recruiting heavily—and she was the one I wanted. This woman is an absolute beast of a businesswoman, the hardest worker I’ve ever met, and someone I trust completely.

We both have big goals, big dreams, and neither of us is afraid of hard work. Getting to do life AND business together feels like such a gift.

And I GET MY NIECES TOO. Last-minute dinners, our kids growing up together, being able to say “come over” instead of booking a flight. That’s the part that really gets me.

I know my dad in heaven is so happy seeing his two girls doing this together. And I have a feeling he had a little hand in making it happen.

About to head to New York for a week filled with a crazy amount of work, fun, and incredibly inspiring things.

Seven or eight years ago, so much of what I’m walking into this week lived only on my vision board in my head. Tomorrow, I have the privilege of launching the fourth product in my line, participate in my first NYFW, while also preparing to open my second practice in Miami.

It makes me think: What if I had been intimidated? What if I had decided someone else had already done it—or could do it better? What if I had listened to people who didn’t understand my vision, my capacity, or who I knew I could become? What if I didn’t start.

People are sometimes surprised when I tell them I’m building something else. Why start a brand when I already have an amazing practice? Why take on another project? Haven’t I already done enough?

I’ve never believed we’re meant to stay inside one lane simply because we’ve succeeded there.

Steve Jobs said, “We’re here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise, why else even be here?” I often refer to this as poking the world.

I have one life. I’m in an incredible season of health, energy, and possibility—and I’m going to do every damn thing I want to do with it. Lenox and Sixteenth Skincare By Amy Peterson

I’ve been dreaming about the different products in this line for years, but this one came to me so vividly.

I could see exactly what I wanted it to be: a product that delivered real results, but also created an experience you would genuinely look forward to every day. I could picture the texture, the feeling, the jar—EVERYTHING.

Seeing The Prep Pads come to life like this is almost impossible to put into words. As a founder, you carry an idea in your head for so long and hope the finished product can somehow live up to it. This one exceeded what I imagined.

I’m so inspired. So proud. And honestly, just so happy.

People ask me all the time, “But who does your face?” or “Who’s the best person to see?”

And I get it. It’s a completely normal question. I would want to know that too.

But the truth is, I don’t have one person.

Every provider Skincare By Amy Peterson has touched my face in some capacity. They’ve injected me, lasered me, treated my skin, mapped my anatomy, tested protocols on me. Because I would never hire someone, train someone or put someone in a treatment room who I wouldn’t trust with my own face.

Of course, experience is earned over time. We have providers at different stages of their careers, and we’re very intentional about matching each provider with the treatments and services that reflect their training, experience and skill level. There is a long training process to be here, with in-house clinical trainers, constant education, hands-on training, case reviews and oversight.

Some of our providers are more visible on social media. Some barely post at all. That isn’t a reflection of who is “better.”

I’m incredibly proud that when someone comes into our practice, the trust doesn’t have to live with one person.

It lives in the standard we’ve built as a team.
