I thought this pregnancy was going to be all glitz, glam and pink. 🎀✨ I couldn’t wait to give birth at the birthing center with pink flowers floating in the water.

But everything changed when I was admitted into the hospital with preeclampsia.

At first, I didn’t fully understand the risks. I just knew I was away from home, crying, afraid, feeling alone and not knowing what was ahead.

So I prayed. I worshiped. I talked to God. I kept stewarding what He placed in my hands, even from a hospital room, and thanked Him for every additional day He gave me with my baby safe inside of me.

This journey didn’t look anything like I imagined, but God has carried us through every part of it.

And today I can finally say… IT’S A GIRL. 🎀💕

Baby girl, you were prayed over long before we ever met you. Thank You, God, for keeping us. 🙏🏽🤍
