Are “way back Wednesday’s” still a thing… If not, we’ll make it a thing! Let’s take it back to the Covid days, where the girlies were begging for appointment regardless of the virus and would come in masked up and ready for their lash extensions.

I remember thinking omg this virus is definitely going to slow everything down but it was actually, quite the opposite for me. Covid was my busiest season!

In regard to this beautiful classic set, if there’s anything I could’ve done differently it would’ve been to remove the first two lash extensions in her inner corner for a more seamless look, but none the less this is one of my favorite classic sets. She’s giving crisp, she’s giving clean, and she’s giving TRUE classic extensions.

Idk about you girls, but some of the classics of today’s age are giving hybrid???

Whenever my clients book a classic set, that’s exactly what they get! One individual lash extension attached to one natural lash.

Once you start creating closed fans to create a “classic” look, in my opinion you’re no longer providing a classic set instead you’re providing a light hybrid set even if it’s just 2D-3D fans? What do you think!?

If I had a dollar for every time someone reached out to me with interest in a lash course yet their limiting beliefs stop them…

Definition of limiting belief
“A limiting belief is a state of mind or belief about yourself that restricts you in some way.”

Often times I hear, “I want to take your course but I’m scared I won’t get any clients”

“I have no experience”

“What if I suck?”

What IF you switch the narrative? See, we all started as beginners with no experience, clientele, nor the ability to lash, and with some doubts. Yet here we are, why? We didn’t quit at the first sight of an obstacle.

Let me share some of my obstacles as a beginner.

-My 1st paying client asked for a refund, ayy shoutout to you for letting me lash you as a newbie with limited experience.

-My 1st influencer client left with one eye done and the other one not done because I was taking 4 hours on ONE eye

-During a house call I spilled glue all over my clients face, hair, and couch…. Remember 🙈

-At one point I wanted to go back to my 9-5 because the learning experiences were getting frustrating, and the list continues.

Only god knows why I never quit when I was experiencing so much frustration. With each “failure” I found ways to improve.

Once I got the hang of this lashing thing through some trail and error a colleague in the lash industry noticed my tremendous improvement and pushed me into the direction of teaching other women.

Lavish academy was created with the intention to teach women the craft of lash artistry MINUS all the mistakes I made as a beginner.

In our time together I share all the things I wish I knew as a beginner so you ladies can get straight into taking models/clients etc and skip the mistakes. I’m not guaranteeing you won’t encounter some hiccups but I can assure you I’ll go into detail on all the mistakes I made.
