✨ Akemi Hair Loft Grand Opening ✨

I put so much hard work into coming back to Miami and building this place, and how blessed am I to look around the room and see family who raised me, friends I’ve laughed and cried with, and longtime clients who have been with me from the start standing right there with me to celebrate. 🥹

I’ve built such a strong community here in Miami that I’m so proud to be a part of. And I’m not only standing in my new salon loft — I’m standing in my classroom, my fulfillment center, my content space, and my home away from home. I can’t wait to see what kinds of memories, opportunities, and impact will be created from this space. ✨

As a Jamaican, it was VERY important to me to have Jamaica represented at my grand opening, and Mangrove did absolutely amazing with my private catering 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 I couldn’t have been happier with the food, and all of my guests loved it! And you KNOW I needed Appleton Rum, ginger beer, and Ting at the bar! 🇯🇲
