We are 1️⃣ day away from our Celebration. This event is a FREE event for and 🌧 OR ☀️. There is indoor available to cool off. There are activities for the family.
We will have a playground and various games for kids, arts and craft activity for individuals as well as families. There will be a 360 photo booth by A to Z Productions, LLC to help commermorate the event. Juneteenth Bingo with prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Kuumba Dance Ensemble, Inc. will be performing. There performances are always amazing and interactive. While you are here to get your Walkers Fish Chicken and More check out our vendors and stay for history history/trivia about Juneteenth and Appomattox. There will be a presentation by David Wooldridge "Blacks in Appomattox: Surviving and Thriving."
We will also be doing a canned food drive to help out our local food pantry Feeding Appomattox
