SPF in your makeup or moisturizer is not enough… here’s why 👇🏼
To get the SPF on the label, you’d need about 1/4 teaspoon just for your face… which is way more makeup or moisturizer than anyone is applying. So that SPF 30 foundation? You’re only getting a fraction of it.
Plus, makeup isn’t applied evenly enough to fully protect areas like around your eyes, nose, and hairline—and no one is reapplying foundation every 2 hours 👀
What to do instead:
✨ Use a dedicated sunscreen as your base every morning
✨ Let it absorb, then apply makeup
✨ Think of SPF in makeup as a bonus
How to reapply over makeup:
☀️ SPF spray (apply generously, not just a quick mist)
☀️ Powder SPF for easy touch-ups
☀️ Press liquid SPF in with a sponge if needed
☀️ Reapply every 2 hours when exposed

They are both so good. 😩 do I have to choose just one?
I like tinted for more light coverage/ no makeup days and clear for everyday fuller makeup days. Both are acne and sensitive skin safe without the dreaded white cast!
I promise one of these will become your new favorite in your routine… and everyone needs an spf! ♥️
