Sometimes I take the cape off, turn my client around, and think…
Yep. That’s the one.
Rich brunette.
Soft dimension.
Beautiful movement.
And SHINE. ✨
Not every appointment needs a dramatic before-and-after to be worth sharing.
Sometimes I just want to show you really beautiful hair.
One of the things I love most about dimensional brunette is that we can add interest without taking away what makes brunette so gorgeous in the first place—the richness and depth.
And when the light hits those little ribbons of dimension?
That’s the good stuff.
🤍 Chair-side reminder: You don’t have to make a huge change to feel refreshed. Sometimes taking a little time to care for yourself is enough.
If this is your kind of brunette, save it for your next appointment—or send it to your brunette bestie who needs a little hair inspiration.

FROM MY CHAIR
Can I tell you something I wish every client knew?
You are allowed to change your mind.
You can come in planning to go darker and decide you aren’t ready.
You can bring me five inspiration pictures that look completely different.
You can tell me you’ve been thinking about bangs for six months…and then decide absolutely NOT when you sit down.
You can even stop me during the consultation and say, “Wait—I don’t think that’s what I meant.”
You will not hurt my feelings.
This is your hair.
My job isn’t to convince you to do what I want. My job is to listen, ask questions, give you my professional opinion and help us find something that feels right for you.
And sometimes my professional opinion might be:
“Let’s not do that today.” 😂
Not because I don’t want to give you what you’re asking for, but because healthy hair will always matter more to me than getting you to a certain color in one appointment.
I want you to feel comfortable speaking up when you’re in my chair.
No intimidation.
No judgment.
No feeling silly because you don’t know the “hair words.”
Just tell me how you want to feel when you look in the mirror.
We can figure out the rest together.
✨ Chair-side reminder: You are allowed to use your voice. The people who truly care about you will want to hear it.

Does your blonde ever look PERFECT when you leave the salon…and then a few weeks later you’re wondering where that beautiful tone went?
You’re not imagining it.
Toner isn’t permanent.
Over time, shampooing, heat styling, sun exposure, minerals in your water and simply living your life can slowly change the tone of your blonde.
That’s why sometimes your highlights don’t actually need to be redone—you may just need a little refresh.
A toner + gloss can bring back the tone we love, add gorgeous shine and freshen everything up without automatically adding more lightener to your hair.
And that’s important to me.
My goal is beautiful, healthy blonde for the long haul.
So if you’re looking at your hair thinking, “I’m not sure what’s wrong, but it just doesn’t look as good as it did…”
You don’t have to diagnose it yourself.
Send me a picture. We’ll figure out what your hair actually needs.
🤍 Chair-side reminder: Not everything that feels a little dull needs to be completely redone. Sometimes we just need a little refresh, a little care, and someone to remind us of what’s still beautiful underneath.

HAIR MYTH TUESDAY
“If I pull out one gray hair, three more will grow back!”
Who else grew up hearing this one?!
Good news: it’s a myth.
Plucking one gray hair isn’t going to magically make three more appear in its place. Each hair grows from its own follicle, so the surrounding hairs aren’t suddenly going gray because you pulled one out.
BUT…
That doesn’t mean I’m giving you permission to stand in the bathroom mirror and start plucking every gray you find.
Repeatedly pulling hairs can irritate or damage the follicle—and that’s definitely not our goal.
If you’re starting to notice more gray, we have options.
We can cover it.
We can blend it.
We can soften it.
Or we can embrace every single one of those sparkly little hairs. ✨
There isn’t one “right” way to handle gray hair.
The right choice is whatever makes YOU feel most like yourself.
🤍 Chair-side reminder: Getting older is a privilege. You are allowed to color the gray AND be grateful for every year that brought it with you. Both things can be true.
Now tell me: Have you ever not plucked a gray hair because you were afraid three more were coming?!

Some colors just GLOW.
And this one has me ready for all the warm, rich hair that’s coming.
I love a beautiful copper because it doesn’t have to scream RED to make an impact. The right combination of warmth, depth and shine can completely change how the hair looks while still feeling wearable.
And can we talk about that shine?!
This is also your reminder that your color doesn’t have to fit neatly into “blonde” or “brunette.” Sometimes the prettiest color lives somewhere in between.
If you’ve been thinking about warming things up for fall, save this one for your inspiration folder.

Before ➡️ After
This blonde refresh was all about bringing life back to her color and giving her hair that healthy, luminous look.
We brightened up her blonde, softened the overall tone, and added beautiful dimension from root to end. Finished with a fresh trim and soft waves, her hair looks brighter, healthier, and full of movement.
The best blondes aren’t just light—they’re shiny, blended, and healthy.
Who else loves a creamy, dimensional blonde that looks effortless from every angle?

Let’s talk about hair shedding and washing your hair.
One of the most common things I hear behind the chair is:
“I’m afraid to wash my hair because so much comes out in the shower.”
Hair shedding can happen for many reasons—stress, illness, medications, hormonal changes, weight loss, nutritional deficiencies, and yes, sometimes GLP-1 medications.
Here’s the thing: the hair you’re seeing during shampooing was likely going to shed anyway.
When you go several days without washing, those shed hairs stay trapped among the rest of your hair. Then when you finally wash, it can seem like you’re losing a huge amount all at once.
In fact, if you’re experiencing increased shedding, I recommend washing your hair at least every other day to keep your scalp healthy and free of excess oil, product buildup, and debris. A healthy scalp creates the best environment for healthy hair growth.
✨ Wash regularly (at least every other day)
✨ Focus on scalp health
✨ Be gentle when detangling
✨ Prioritize protein and nutrition
✨ Talk with your healthcare provider if shedding becomes excessive
Hair shedding can be scary, but avoiding wash days isn’t the answer.
If you’re noticing more hair in your brush or shower lately, know that you’re not alone—and taking care of your scalp is one of the best things you can do for your hair.

Rich brunette perfection
We refreshed her color, added beautiful shine, and finished with soft, flowing waves that show off every bit of dimension.
I love how the subtle ribbons of warmth catch the light while still keeping that rich brunette depth.
Healthy, glossy hair never goes out of style, and this color is giving all the expensive brunette vibes.

Before ➡️ After
This transformation was all about creating a richer, healthier look. We refreshed her color, softened the warm tones, and gave her a sleek, polished cut that perfectly frames her face.
The difference is in the details—the shine, the depth, the smooth finish, and a cut that looks effortlessly put together.
A fresh color and a fresh cut can make all the difference.

Rich brunette, soft dimension, and a fresh cut—what more could a girl ask for?
We refreshed her color, blended in soft caramel ribbons, and added movement with a layered cut and loose waves. The result is healthy, shiny hair that looks effortless and grows out beautifully.
Nothing beats that feeling of running your fingers through freshly styled hair and walking out the door feeling like your best self.
