The mother of the groom shared with me that she’d had a bad makeup experience in the past, so she decided not to book makeup services for the wedding. After seeing the beautiful looks Hillary and I were creating that morning, she quietly asked if there was any chance we could fit her in.
Thankfully, VT | SW FL Makeup Artistry & Hairstyling had built the schedule perfectly, and we were able to make it happen.
She admitted she was nervous sitting in my chair, and hearing about her previous experience made me want to make sure she felt comfortable, listened to, and like the best version of herself.
Seeing her smile, watching her confidence return, and hearing everyone’s reactions afterward is exactly why I love what I do. Helping someone replace a disappointing experience with a positive one is one of the most rewarding parts of this job.

Happy Father’s Day to the most incredible Dad.
Nick, you truly are one of a kind. You are patient, present, and intentional in every part of fatherhood. You don’t just love our children, you genuinely want to spend time with them, guide them, and be an active part of their lives every single day.
One of the things I appreciate most is that you are a true parenting partner. You share the physical and mental load of raising our family, and when motherhood feels overwhelming, you remind me that you are their parent too. You step in without hesitation and carry so much alongside me, and I can never fully express how much that means to me.
Our children absolutely adore you, and it’s easy to see why. They feel loved, safe, heard, and valued by you. But beyond that, they look up to you. They are growing up with an incredible role model. You are someone who leads with kindness, integrity, patience, and love.
Watching you be their dad is one of the greatest joys of my life. We are so lucky to have you.
