Another day, another alt scene emo mullet from Kole 💇 We love how he worked with his client’s naturally wavy/curly texture to create something totally customized!

Bixie? Shaggy pixie? Whatever you call this haircut, it’s cute AF. Our stylist Lauren used a razor to create texture perfection for her gorgeous client after cutting off nearly ten inches of length!

One of the best parts of being a hairstylist is building relationships with our clients. Once you build trust with a stylist, there’s no fear in a big haircut transformation because we learn so much about your hair, your likes, and your dislikes 🤝

Hiya! I’m Alie and I’m a transformation specialist.

I absolutely adore dimensional vivids, textured razor cuts, and baby fine curls. I love to hear fun, out of the box ideas and translate them to your head!

I’ve been licensed to do hair since 2021, and was an amateur enthusiast for about 10 years before I went to school. I always have my hands in some sort of hair related project and I love to stay educated and up to date on the latest trends. Projects I’m currently dabbling with are wig rooting and long haired murals.

When I’m not in the salon, I love to nerd out with my friends. I both run and play in Dungeons and Dragons games. I love to read; Fantasy and Sci-Fi are usually my go-to’s! I love going out to local shows and supporting the incredible music scene in Milwaukee. Also, a big lover of local businesses! Gladly here to discuss all your favorite restaurants and thrift stores!

When I get a moment to myself, there’s nothing I love more than snuggling up with my pets, Ivy and Dagger.

New shelf, who dis?

After sampling an endless array of brands over the last two months, we’ve officially switched over to Davines as our main styling line!

Beyond making shampoos and conditioners that leave your hair feeling amazing, they’re a certified B Corp, which means their commitment to people and the planet isn’t just a cool line from the marketing department. It’s third-party verified. 🌿

If you’ve been in our salon recently, you’ve probably noticed that we’ve been expanding the brands we carry and sampling new products.

Every product we carry gets used behind the chair, every day, on all hair types and textures. That hands-on experience is how we decide what earns a place on our shelves… and what we choose to let go of.

We also think a lot about where our money goes (and yours).

Sometimes that means making a hard decision.

We’ve decided to sunset KEVIN.MURPHY, our core product line for nearly 15 years.

While overall the products themselves do still perform, the brand’s recent direction no longer feels like the right fit for us.

We’ll be removing it from the salon shelves later this week, and our shampoo + conditioner refill program will be ending as well. Our online store will continue selling through remaining inventory for now.

If it’s still a line you love, don’t despair! We are always happy to special order it for you.

But if you’re open to something new, we have some really great things coming your way soon that we’re excited to share!

Happy 10 year Freyaversary to Adriana 🎂🎂🎂

Adriana is one of the best creative colorists in the city, and currently trains all our assistants in color. It’s hard to believe she actually started at our front desk!!! After finishing her Cosmetology program she became Freya’s very first assistant, and the rest is history!
