As promised, we have rescheduled Peace & Power with Alex Mingus for Saturday, April 25th.
We’re excited to bring this offering back to the community.
Peace & Power: The Community Safety Series at Reviving Roots is a space that is grounded, community-centered, and rooted in Black wellness. We believe safety is wellness, and that learning the skills to care for ourselves and our community builds peace — not fear.
We partnered with Alex Mingus, community safety educator, activist, and father, to lead trauma-informed, community-centered safety training in our space. Matt G., one of our therapists, will also be present throughout each session to support grounding and care as we engage in this work.
We look forward to being in community with you.
We’re keeping this space small — only 15 spots total — so everyone has space to learn and be supported.
