Today I had one of those real barbershop conversations with a client I’ve known for many moons. He’s been going back and forth about whether he wants to cut off his locs, and that’s not a small decision. When you’ve spent years growing your hair, there’s history, memories, and a part of your identity tied into that journey.
We sat down and talked about something that applies to more than just hair—making major life decisions when you’re not 100% sure.
Sometimes the best move isn’t to rush. Sometimes it’s okay to pause, think, pray, reflect, and make sure the decision you’re about to make is truly what you want. Whether it’s your hair, a relationship, a career move, or a life change, make sure you’re making the choice for the right reasons and not just because of a temporary feeling.
