From our very first conversation on May 26th to her wedding day on July 25th 🤍✨
We did her trial run on June 24th, and funny enough… we didn’t even end up doing the exact look she originally had in mind! And that was totally okay. As we got closer to the wedding, we knew the weather was going to be HOT, so we adjusted and created something that would not only photograph beautifully, but actually hold up in the heat.
And honestly? I love that part of being a bridal artist. It’s not always about sticking perfectly to the original plan. Sometimes it’s about taking what you envisioned, looking at the reality of the day, and creating something even better for you.
July 25th was such a beautiful day, and I’m so grateful I got to be a little part of it. 🤍

I always had a passion for beauty. I just never knew it would become my life. 💕
I thought I’d work at the VA forever. Then 2020 changed everything.
I may not be helping people in a hospital anymore, but I’m still helping people… just in a different way.
And I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. ✨
Some haircuts are more than just a haircut. 💖
There was something so special about watching her finally let go of the hair she had been holding onto for so long. And honestly, it felt like so much more than cutting hair.✂️🥹
Sometimes we just need permission to let go. To stop overthinking. To trust ourselves. To choose what feels right for us.
And getting to be the person sitting beside her while she took that first step? That’s the kind of moment I’ll always love about doing hair. 🤍
