POV: A few days in the Ozarks reminded me why I love what I do… ⛰️☀️🍃

When I travel, I’m always looking beyond the beautiful views. I’m paying attention to how a place makes people feel.

Big Cedar Lodge is one of those destinations.

From waking up in my own cozy cabin overlooking the water to sunset dinners, mornings on the Lady Liberty Yacht, championship golf, peaceful moments at the spa, and exploring Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail… every experience felt intentional.

As someone who designs retreats and wellness experiences, I couldn’t help but think about the attendee journey. The accommodations invite you to exhale. The meeting spaces connect you with nature. The dining tells a story. And the activities create the kind of memories that bring people together long after the event ends.

This wasn’t just a beautiful property—it was a reminder that the most meaningful experiences are created through thoughtful details.

Grateful for the memories and already counting down until I’m back in Virginia Beach in a few weeks.

Alaska feels like living inside a picture. 🏔️🫎☀️

The mountains, water, wildlife, and endless beauty made every moment feel a little magical. It was peaceful, adventurous, and the kind of place that reminds you to slow down and simply be present.

A huge thank you to for the opportunity to experience Alaska as a destination for small and boutique meetings. Over 2.5 days, I had nearly 30 meetings, and while the schedule was full, every conversation felt intentional and meaningful.

I’m leaving with a grateful heart, new connections, and excitement for the partnerships ahead.
