Built to lead, fearless, delightful, kind, tender, true, ferocious (in all the right ways), wildly funny, courageous, thoughtful, bold, loyal, faithful, strong, humble, compassionate, driven, safe, practical joker (for real), judicious, lovely, beautiful, pioneer, empath, warrior, peacemaker, and BESTEST friend…. A fraction of some in the incredible words that could be used to describe Mom. I would have said no over a decade ago to this wild and wonderful journey if anyone else was at the helm of Give-A-Derm except her. Few people get to say “my Mom is my best friend and colleague”. Forever grateful for this journey and how our relationship grows through each step.

Today I want to honor her first and foremost for being the absolute best Mom this girl could ever hope for. I also want to honor every woman who has acted in compassion towards others, had children of their own, poured out compassion to those along their path and have intervened with love, and mentored those who desperately need it. God Bless each and every one of you!
