I love asking the students what they’re doing for two reasons: 1. I love to snoop. Tell me everything. 2. I love to learn! If I didn’t ask Anna what she was doing, I wouldn’t have learned that she wasn’t just working on a mannequin to kill time or to hone technique, she was planning! Her friend was coming in as a model and she wanted to make sure she had a plan to achieve a specific blonde look!

Ella, you are the first client to whimsically perceive the camera and now you are obviously my favorite ever. Being yourself at Hideout Academy applies to EVERYONE. (Let it be said, I also do not mind if you don’t perceive me or the camera at all. It’s why I kind ghost around, lolol.)
