I finally made the turmeric soap cut and I am in love with how it turned out!

This bar is unscented, making it a great option for those with sensitive skin or anyone who prefers to skip added fragrance. Even though it’s unscented, you can still catch the natural, warm scent of the cocoa butter that was used in the recipe.

Turmeric has been used in skincare for generations and is often loved for its ability to help brighten the appearance of skin, calm the look of redness, and give skin a healthy glow. Combined with creamy cocoa butter, this bar feels rich and luxurious while keeping the ingredient list simple.

Made with goat milk, cocoa butter, and lots of love! ❤️

I’ve recently started using cocoa butter in my soap, and it’s so good that Glenn wants me to buy all the cocoa butter and make nothing but cocoa butter soap. 🤣

Unfortunately, cocoa butter isn’t cheap, so I’m trying to find the perfect balance between luxury and affordability.

This batch contains 10% cocoa butter, and now we wait for it to cure.

One of my favorite things about handmade soap is that even though every bar comes from the same batch, no two are ever exactly alike.

Glenn gets home last night and says “Damn babe, you got it smelling good at the end of the driveway!” Just me over here cooking Vanilla Mocha soap late at night. Made with goat milk, Greek yogurt, Shea butter and lots of love. 💗

It’s been a busy day whipping up soap in the kitchen 🤣✨

This is my new Bum Bum inspired bar with rose clay, rose gold mica, and a Kentucky Bourbon bar with creamy cocoa swirls 🤎✨

I’m honestly more anxious to cut the slab of Bum Bum because I have NO idea what the middle looks like 😂
It definitely did not go as planned… but that’s the fun part of handmade soap sometimes.

I stayed up way too late Thursday night making this batch because I swear I’m finally getting the hang of it.

And listen… I already did a lather test 👀
This bar feels SO good. Silky, creamy, rich… definitely one of those “keep touching your skin after you rinse” kind of soaps.

I set my superfat to go in after the cook this time. If you don’t know soap talk, basically that means the luxury oils don’t get cooked away. So this bar got coated in sweet almond oil goodness at the end 🫶

I also added Greek yogurt which helps give the soap a creamier feel and extra silky lather. Between that, the sweet almond oil, and all the cocoa butter… this bar feels straight up luxurious.

The cocoa butter fragrance in this recipe? INSANE.
Probably a little too insane after I realized how much money I poured into this loaf 😂

So obviously I had to scent it with Cocoa Butter Cashmere because anything else would’ve been illegal at this point 🤎✨
