āļø BARBERS ā IāM LOOKING FOR YOU.
(Or Cosmologist/ Hairdresser well rounded in menās cuts ready to train for shaving)
Iām looking to add licensed barbers to my shop in Neosho, MO, and Iām not looking for people to come sit around hoping clients walk through the door. We have clients. A LOT of them.
Weāre getting calls, walk-ins, appointment requests, and referrals that I simply cannot keep up with by myself. Iām regularly having to turn people away because there arenāt enough licensed barbers available to take care of them.
That means if youāre a barber looking for a place where you can actually stay busy, build your clientele, make money, and grow, this could be a really good opportunity.
Iām especially interested in barbers who are:
⢠Licensed and ready to work
⢠Motivated to build a career, not just punch a clock
⢠Great with people
⢠Serious about their craft
⢠Looking for a shop where they can grow
And if youāre newer to the industry, donāt count yourself out. Iām willing to help the right barber develop their skills, clientele, and confidence behind the chair.
You donāt need to already know me.
You donāt need to have a huge clientele.
You just need to be good at what you do, willing to work, and the right fit for the shop.
If youāre a barber in the Neosho/Joplin/Seneca/Carthage area and youāve been thinking about making a change ā message me your portfolio/ resumeš¤
Iād rather have a conversation and see if weāre a good fit than have you wonder whether you shouldāve reached out.

š§” ADHD AWARENESS MONTH š§”
You donāt have to sit perfectly still, make small talk, or pretend youāre comfortable to get a haircut in my chair.
Need a fidget? Need a break? Need quiet instead of conversation? Thatās okay. ā¤ļø
Sometimes the smallest accommodations make the biggest difference. A barbershop should be a place where you can show up as yourself without feeling judged for it.
You deserve to feel comfortable, not just leave looking good. āļøš«¶
Letās talk about it: Whatās one thing that would make getting a haircut easier or more comfortable for you?
š Drop it in the comments. You might help a barber understand something they never thought about before.
Share this with someone who needs the reminder that thereās nothing wrong with needing things a little differently. š§”

The holidays are right around the corner, and my books are already booked up past November 2nd! ā¤ļø
If youāre wanting a fresh cut for Thanksgiving, family pictures, Christmas, or holiday parties, donāt wait until the last minute to get on my schedule! I want to make sure my clients can get in and feel their best for the holidays. š«¶
And as the shop continues to grow, Iām looking to connect with licensed barbers who want to grow, build their clientele, and be part of something special. š
If youāre a barber looking for a new opportunity, or you know someone who might be a great fit, my messages are open! No pressure ā letās talk and see if itās the right fit. š¤
ā¤ļø To my clients: thank you for trusting me with your cuts and continuing to support my business. It means more than you know!

š World Mental Health Day | More Than a Barbershop š
For generations, barbershops have been more than a place to get a haircut. Theyāve been a place where people come together, share stories, laugh, vent, talk about life, and sometimes sit quietly with someone who understands without ever needing an explanation.
Historically, barbershops have served as important community gathering places, where conversations happen naturally and people can feel a sense of belonging. Sometimes, the person sitting in your chair needs more than a haircut. They need someone to listen, a little kindness, or simply a space where they can be themselves without judgment.
And thatās something I believe should always be at the heart of this industry. ā¤ļø
You never know what someone is carrying when they walk through your door. The person who seems the happiest might be struggling the most. The person who barely speaks might just need to know theyāre welcome. And sometimes, a simple conversation or a safe, comfortable environment can mean more than we realize.
Thatās why I believe a barbershop should be a place for everyone and anyone. A place where you donāt have to pretend youāre okay, explain yourself, or be anything other than who you are.
As barbers, we may not be mental health professionals, and we canāt fix every problem someone brings through our doors. But we can listen. We can show compassion. We can create an environment where people feel seen, respected, and accepted.
This is especially close to my heart because I believe everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable in the barberās chair, including those who experience anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or struggles that others may not see.
š This World Mental Health Day, letās remember that what we do goes beyond hair. Itās about people. Itās about connection. Itās about community.
Check on your people. Be kind to strangers. Listen without judgment. And never underestimate the difference you can make simply by making someone feel welcome.
Because sometimes, a haircut is just a haircut. And sometimes, itās a little bit of connection in a world where someone really needs it.
Everyone deserves a seat in the chair. Everyone deserves to feel safe. Everyone deserves to belong. šš

Thereās something I want people to know about our shop:
You donāt have to be a certain kind of person to belong here.
You can dress however you dress.
Believe whatever you believe.
Come from anywhere.
Have different needs.
Be loud, quiet, nervous, talkative, particular, or somewhere in between.
Youāre welcome here.
Weāre not here to judge you. Weāre here to cut your hair, take care of you, and give you an experience that makes you feel good about spending your hard-earned money with a local business.
Because at the end of the day, weāre grateful you chose our chair.
And now weāre looking for someone who understands that.
Weāre hiring a barber or cosmetologist who doesnāt just want to cut hair ā we want someone who knows how to hold space for people.
Someone kind. Patient. Respectful. Adaptable. Someone who understands that the person in their chair is more important than the haircut on the cape.
If that sounds like you, weād love to meet you.

Not every person experiences a haircut the same way. ā¤ļø
For some people, the noise, clippers, cape, lights, touching, or simply sitting in a busy barbershop can be overwhelming.
Thatās why we offer sensory-friendly haircuts at Challesā Old School Barbering. No judgment. No rushing. Breaks are okay. You can choose your cape, your environment, and what makes you comfortable.
Because everyone deserves a good haircut ā and everyone deserves to feel safe getting one.
And honestly⦠we need another barber who believes that too.
Weāre looking for a dedicated barber who wants to build a real career, grow their skills, take care of their clients, and be part of a shop that actually cares about the people sitting in our chairs.
If youāre the kind of barber who thinks a great haircut is about more than just the cut, weād love to meet you.
