Turns out being the new girl is a lot less cute when you’re self-employed 😜 There’s something wildly humbling about knowing what you’re capable of… while simultaneously having to introduce yourself from scratch. ✨

I think this was the part people didn’t fully understand…. I wasn’t leaving something that failed — I was leaving something that worked. Sometimes outgrowing a version of your life means being willing to walk away while it’s still good & chase more.

There were absolutely days I questioned what the hell I had done. 🥲 But there’s also something powerful about realizing the things that made you successful the first time didn’t stay behind when you moved. You brought them with you!!!!

This part has been my favorite. Seeing a name I don’t recognize on my books. Then seeing her again. Then her friend. Then her friend’s friend. 🥹 That kind of growth can’t be faked — and I’ll never stop being grateful for it 🫶

I don’t want this to be the “look, I made it” post — because I haven’t…. That’s kinda the whole point. I’m still in the middle of becoming the stylist, business owner, and woman I know I can be. 💃 And for once, I’m not rushing to get to the finished version. I’m really damn proud of this one. 🫶🏼
