A curl can dream… sometimes dreams come true.

So I took this weekend off to celebrate my birthday, so Anna decided to decorate my station early. ❤️

Confession: I've been slacking on my Local Business Spotlights lately, but today I finally got back to it... and accidentally reminded myself why I love living here.

I grabbed lunch, found a shady spot by the river, and enjoyed one of those perfect Florida afternoons that makes you stop and appreciate where you are. The breeze coming off the water, the shade from the old oak trees, and a quiet hour away from the usual hustle felt like a mini vacation in the middle of the day.

Sometimes we get so busy chasing the next thing that we forget to enjoy what's already right in front of us.

Today was a reminder that some of the best moments don't require a big plan—just good food, a little time, and a beautiful place to sit and enjoy it.

And for me, today's reminder started with a toasted pastrami sandwich, chips, and a pickle from Main Street DELI LLC..
