Stopped by target today and got a few things and also found a few things to share.

First has been on my website for 3ish years and I was excited to see them in stores! I bought the last of their pizza dippers (personal favorites) find them in stores or shop them online with code DONTLETTHEMFOOLYOU2 for 15% off

and are better in store beef stock options if you’re looking in stores (personal fave is )

is new to me and I haven’t tried but the ingredients were impressive

Nothing will ever compare to my king mushroom coffee but if you’re in store and need something

I LOVE the functional coffees. You can shop them on my site as well.

Also saw and if you shop their website with my link/code DLTFY.

is another in store option and it’s also on my website.

was the only organic coffee at my store right now but I’m glad to see an organic option there! Will be on my site soon.

are yummy my daughter and I eat them🄳

I also got broccoli bites (not pictured) , my 2 year old loves these for breakfast LOL. I’ll take what I can with eating veggies. And some more because I’ve been packing them for my 6 year old for summer camp.

I want to be really clear that this post is not me telling you to run out and buy this cleaner.

There are absolutely brands on the market that avoid ingredients like quaternary ammonium compounds, EDTA, etc. If those things matter to you, you have options.

What I found interesting, though, was the ingredient disclosure itself and the way some ingredient-rating apps present information.

This cleaner was flagged primarily for benzalkonium chloride (a quaternary ammonium disinfectant), EDTA, and fragrance. When I looked deeper into the studies being cited, most of the concerns came from animal studies, cell studies, or occupational exposure research not necessarily from occasional household use. That doesn’t mean the concerns should be ignored, but it does mean context matters.

I also appreciated that the company disclosed fragrance components rather than simply hiding everything behind the word ā€œfragrance.ā€ Transparency doesn’t automatically make an ingredient safer, but it does allow consumers to make more informed decisions.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned over the years is that hazard and risk are not the same thing. A substance can have documented hazards under certain conditions while still presenting a very different level of risk during normal consumer use. That’s why I think it’s important to look beyond an app score and understand what the studies actually evaluated, how the ingredient is being used, and what the real-world exposure looks like.

My goal with posts like this isn’t to tell you what to buy. It’s to help you understand what’s in products, what the concerns actually are, and give you enough information to decide what aligns with your own comfort level and priorities.

I was absolutely convinced this song was going to make her cry.

If you’ve never heard ā€œWhiskey Lullaby,ā€ it’s one of those songs that can have me tearing up before it even gets to the ending. So naturally, I sat there waiting for the emotional devastation…

Instead, she spent half the song laughing at the guy drunkenly banging on furniture, then had a sudden realization at the end and somehow laughed even harder because she felt bad for laughing. šŸ˜‚

Meanwhile I’m sitting there with tears forming.

It’s honestly fascinating how differently music affects people. Some people immediately connect with the story, some connect with the lyrics, some focus on the production, and some are just along for the ride. The exact same song can wreck one person emotionally and make another person giggle.

Apparently she and I were listening to two completely different songs. 🤣

I bought this on Amazon last year and it’s truly soooo cute!!! I didn’t realize they have other books too so I’ll definitely be checking them out

This sing-along book combines music and positive affirmations in a way that’s fun and engaging for little ones. Instead of just listening to a story, they get to sing along, participate, and repeat encouraging messages about loving themselves and appreciating their bodies.

As parents, we spend so much time helping our children build confidence, kindness, and self-worth. I love finding resources that reinforce those messages in a playful, age-appropriate way. The catchy songs make it easy for kids to remember, and before you know it, they’re singing positive words about themselves throughout the day. And so am I 🄺

If you’re looking for a screen-free activity that encourages confidence, self-love, and lots of giggles, this one is worth checking out. šŸŽ¶āœØ It’s easy to find on Amazon but I have it linked in my storefront under kids as well!
