Spending the holidays with my favorite person.

As a child, my family could not always afford to go to the movie theater so the times that we did get to go, it was such a treat. I cherished every moment that I got to sit in those upholstered seats and watch a film come to life on the screen. As I sat in the theater last night I was thinking to myself, “I can’t believe you are here watching The premiere of James Bond - No time to die” Last night was a surreal moment for me and a reminder that THE BEST IS ALWAYS YET TO COME. 🥰🥺

Do you take responsibility when you’re wrong? I called a friend today who I felt I owed her an apology for something I said about her when she wasn’t around. I apologize for misplacing my frustration and dragging her name into a conversation that she wasn’t a part of. I was raised with the most incredible mother who taught me from a very young age to own my s**t and apologize when I am wrong.

To my surprise, I was shocked to hear that my friend already knew about the gossip and because of it, she said she was very sad and didn’t sleep for few days. WOW! Imagine if I didn’t call to apologize? I would be living my life not knowing that a friend was hurting because of my own judgments. If you’re reading this…I want you to ask yourself this question…Who needs to hear your apology today?

Always choose a better way, a higher way.

Birthday used to mean a big dinner party, making sure everyone had a good time, worrying if I invited everyone and now a days birthday means putting my phone on silent and letting the day take an organic path. I’m becoming wiser and starting to know the value of quality over quantity, reserve my time and energy to only the things that nourish me the most. Cheers to getting older and wiser…

Our body has many ways of telling us what we need to do in order for it to fiction properly. I got a huge pimple under my chin and at first I freaked out.
Like wtf! why am I getting acne like a teenager? Then I realized that wasn’t the right question.
A better question would be…what is my body trying to tell me?
I remember there’s a something called FACE MAPPING. Where you can see the meaning of each pimple and why you got it. Under the chin pimple is often caused by fluctuations in hormones, stress and oily food. Problem solution.

I will try to rest this Weekend and eat healthy. 👌🏾
