Can we just stop and appreciate how gorgeous my client’s skin is to begin with? 😍 You’ll notice she does have some redness, but scroll to the after photo to see how much this facial calmed and soothed her skin!

Here’s what we did using medical grade products:

• Gentle gel cleanse (with steam)
• Light exfoliating polish (with steam)
• Application of phyto corrective gel (soothes and hydrates the skin while improving redness)
• Lavender jelly mask to hydrate and soften the skin while allowing the products applied under to pe*****te deeper. Added cool steam to help set the mask and provide more of a skin soothing effect
• Finished off with a Vitamin C serum

Some takeaways from this facial:

• I wouldn’t apply a serum as a last step, but I used it in lieu of a moisturizer because I didn’t have one 😬
• I’d typically apply Vitamin C in the daytime, but you’ll surely reap all the benefits applying it during your nighttime routine as well!
• Jelly mask application is tricky! The ratio of water to powder is so important. The consistency of mine was pretty good, but I definitely learned that I should take additional measures to prevent the mask from dripping into my clients ears or getting into her hairline 🫣
• When applying any type of mask, it’s important to be mindful of any facial piercings. Have cotton swabs and some toner handy for thorough cleanup!

I love seeing the immediate effects of this hyaluronic acid jelly mask (that is looking kinda lumpy since it wasn’t applied quick enough, but I’m learning ok!)

My client already has beautiful skin, so we opted for a more relaxing, soothing facial that included:

• a gentle cleanse
• light exfoliation
• 10 minute facial massage
• application of a phyto corrective gel serum (this helps with redness)
• hyaluronic jelly mask (hydrating and plumping)
• scalp massage while waiting for the jelly mask to settle (yes, she fell asleep 😴)
• hydrating moisturizer (no spf this time since service was done at 8pm)

As amazing as her skin looks in the after photo, my favorite part is her smile! Can you tell she enjoyed it? 🧖🏼‍♀️😅

We’re currently practicing waxing in school and I waxed sideburns and underarms for the first time! Here are some before and afters ✨

Def missed a lil spot by her earring and the perfectionist in me can’t get over it! We’ll clean it up next week 🤭
