As a color specialist for over 25 years I would never compromise the condition of your hair for the sake of being creative. My mission is to add vitality to life. Everyday we meet needs for nutrition, hygiene and personal care with brands that help people feel good, look good and get more out of life. I myself believe, less is more. Balayage is a French technique that is designed to create very natural-looking highlights which will grow out without developing a noticeable and obvious root. My goal is to educate clients to decide on the right color for them, and also remind them that the integrity of their hair plays a big role into my career.

If you actually take the time to understand what balayage is, you’ll realize it was never a trend.
BALAYAGE IS A HIGHLIGHTING TECHNIQUE, ORIGINATING IN PARIS. 🇫🇷
The word comes from the French balayer “to sweep.”
It is the art of painting light into the hair by hand.
It does NOT mean:
“natural”
“beachy”
“blonde”
or one specific look.
Balayage can be SOFT.
It can be BOLD.
It can create DIMENSION.
It can create a serious POP OF LIGHT.
The result depends on the artist, the placement, the saturation, and the VISION.

BALAYAGE IS A HIGHLIGHTING TECHNIQUE.
It doesn’t mean the result has to be soft or “natural.”
Painting hair is like playing a musical instrument.
Sometimes you play it intensely.
Sometimes softly.
It depends on the COLOR you want to create.
For my younger girls and teens today, I love a POP of balayage very fine, fluid painting that makes the light POP.
Look at the SHINE.
