在紐約大都會的日子裡，我如同一隻蜂鳥採集著堅硬而閃亮的彩石。
今年有幸參與聖誕節sidewalk Sunday school，黃色Metro truck再次出發走進二間學校，二個社區，連結了1000顆心，一批批的家長與孩子，聽著聖經的故事，一同禱告，發放禮物時此起彼落的「Merry Christmas! Thank you!」活動結束大夥抱著疲累身軀，但內心卻很富足，盤點著剩餘的禮物⋯⋯
早年的心靈雞湯，有個著名的故事。有個小女孩在沙灘上撿海星丟回大海裡，有人說這一點用都沒有，但她卻回答：「當我撿起這隻海星，丟進海裡的時候，我已經改變了牠的命運。」這其實也就是我們現在正在做的。
我從這個經驗裡學到的，是不論在哪個文化裡，孩子都是一種 Blessing，我們幫助他們強壯、建立信心，然後把他們當種子播回原生地，我們做不到的改變，也許他們可以做得到。
