It’s never really about the makeup...
A client recently sat in my chair and, before I even touched her face, started listing all the things she didn’t like about herself.
So throughout her appointment, I made a point to show her what I was seeing instead.
Her beautiful eyes. Her glowing skin. Her!!
By the end, she looked in the mirror and said, “Wow, I haven’t seen myself like this in a very long time.”
That’s the part of my job I’ll never get tired of. Helping someone see themselves a little differently, focus less on the things they don’t like, and walk out feeling good enough to actually enjoy the wedding, birthday, event or whatever else they got dolled up for in the first place.
