Growing older is a blessing. We joke how we don’t wanna get older, how we don’t wanna grow up.. because we are scared of what’s to come, scared to lose our youth, scared to lose our childhood sense of wonder. Just because we age, doesn’t mean we have to lose our passions, or the lil things that bring us joy, we can still like the same things that made our young hearts flutter with excitement. Anime, the same music we screamed in the car, coloring, playing outside, going to hot topic, reading comics, playing vidoe games! Just because we get older doesn’t mean we have to stop living. Growing older doesn’t mean we have to get boring, or get mad at the world, we can be older and be fckn happy. Yes we age, yes our youth physically alters and we grow into something else, a different physical version of ourselves, but our hearts, our soul is all the same. I’m grateful that I get to experience life, I’m grateful I’m getting older, I’m grateful I get to keep exploring life and learning and growing along the way💙💛
