One of the biggest things I work on with my BALANCE clients who want to lose weight is learning how to actually check in with their body.
Are you hungry?
Are you eating because your partner is eating or because everyone around you is?
Are you drinking because everyone else is drinking?
Do you actually enjoy it?
How do you feel after you eat? Energized? Tired? Bloated? Satisfied?
What’s your mood like? How’s your digestion? Are these foods actually supporting how you want to feel?
That connection matters.
Because mindfulness can help whether you tend to eat too much or you’re constantly trying to eat as little as possible just to stay skinny.
If you’re tired of ignoring your hunger, feeling low energy, or feeling like you’ve lost yourself around food, this is something we work on inside BALANCE.

Natalie had already been working with a personal trainer.
She was exercising, trying to watch what she ate, and still felt like the scale was not moving the way she wanted.
She also lives at home with her family, and her mom cooks most of the meals. So I was not about to tell her she needed to start making a totally separate “diet meal” every night.
We looked at what she was already eating and made small changes that actually fit her life.
Two weeks later, Natalie was down 5 pounds, went down a pant size, bought new clothes for her cruise, and had more energy.
She also stopped needing to head to the break room for pastries just to get through the day.
That is what I mean when I say your plan has to fit your real life, we just added small changes to her mom’s meals.

Two years ago, I didn’t realize how much insulin resistance was affecting me.
For me, it looked like brain fog, being super forgetful, constant cravings, waking up tired, crashing after meals, craving sugar, and needing coffee just to make it through the day.
For other people, it can look different—feeling thirsty all the time, peeing more often, skin tags, or darker skin around the neck, armpits, or groin. Tingling or loss of feeling on their feet.
I wish I knew sooner that I didn’t need to completely overhaul my life.
Small changes like building more balanced meals, eating enough protein and fiber, and supporting steadier blood sugar made such a difference in improving my insulin resistance and how I felt day to day.

Miriam was already doing a lot.
She was CrossFitting 3–4 times a week and running about 6 miles every week, but her weight had been stuck and she couldn’t figure out why.
Once she joined BALANCE, we didn’t overhaul everything.
She’s a mom and cooks for her family. The last thing she needed was a separate “diet meal” just for herself.
We looked at what she was already eating, made a few realistic changes, and kept the foods she actually enjoyed.
In less than 2 months, she was down 10 pounds.
And the biggest difference? She told me this finally felt realistic and sustainable because she wasn’t making one dinner for her family and another for herself.
That’s exactly what I want inside BALANCE.
If you’re ready for a more realistic approach to weight loss, I’m taking 3 more people for my September round.
If you’re ready to stop chasing the next diet and find one that actually works for your life… send me a private DM with the word ‘INFO’ to start the conversation. Alternatively, you can book a free call link in bio
CC came to me after having two kids and just not feeling like herself anymore.
She told me she was wearing black all the time because it “hid things better,” and most days she lived in athletic clothes because that was what felt comfortable.
She had brunch planned with her girlfriends and was really looking forward to it. They’re all moms now, everyone is busy, and getting everyone together does not happen often.
She went to get dressed, tried to put on something nice, and it did not fit.
That was the moment she hit a point where she was tired of feeling down about herself and tired of always putting herself last.
She wanted to feel good in her clothes again, have more energy, and feel like herself again—for her and for her family.
This is exactly why BALANCE exists.
There are no detox teas, no cutting out everything you love, and no separate “diet meals” while your family eats something else.
We focus on real food, realistic habits, and changes that actually fit into your life.
If you see yourself in CC’s story, send me INFO and let’s chat about working together.

Okay, I have to share this one because this is exactly why I created BALANCE.
“M” came to me after years of dieting.
She was counting every calorie and sometimes getting down to around 1,000 calories a day… and then adding workouts on top of that.
And somehow, the weight kept creeping back up.
Her mornings started off rough because her energy was already low, she felt tired throughout the day, and the cravings were strong. Ice cream was a big one for her.
She had been doing this for years and was frustrated because she felt like she was trying so hard, but her weight just kept climbing.
Fast forward two months working together and things look very different.
✨ The scale is finally moving.
✨ She’s still eating her cultural foods.
✨ She still gets to eat out.
✨ And she’s learned how to make choices that actually support her goals without going back to extreme dieting.
She even went on a 3-week vacation, came home, and had still lost weight.
That one makes me especially happy because real life is going to include vacations, restaurants, family meals, and foods you actually enjoy.
We didn’t add another strict diet.
We focused on realistic, sustainable habits that fit her life and helped get the scale shifting again.
This is why BALANCE exists. 💛
If you’re ready for a different approach to weight loss, DM me INFO and let’s chat about how we can work together.
When my client N joined BALANCE, she told me she didn’t really recognize herself anymore.
She felt like she had lost her sparkle, her energy, her little bit of “jazz.”
She was 22, working full-time in pharmacy, living with her family, and her mom did most of the cooking.
She was already working out 4 times a week.
She was already counting calories.
But her weight just kept climbing.
Two weeks into BALANCE, she was down 5 pounds.
And the best part?
She was still eating her mom’s food.
She didn’t have to start making a separate “diet meal” for herself every night.
Her energy started getting better. She wasn’t coming home from work completely exhausted anymore.
✨She got to buy new pants.
✨She’s getting ready for a cruise.
✨And food just stopped taking up so much space in her mind.
Eating got easier, social events got easier, and going out got easier.
Her normal routine started feeling more automatic instead of something she had to constantly think about.
One of my favorite things she told me was:
“I thought doing this program meant I’d have to make my own meals and eat differently forever. But you made it fit my current life. I just eat more consciously now, I’m more aware of my choices, and it fits so easily.”
That’s the kind of change I want for my clients.
We worked on getting her intake right for her body and building habits that actually worked around her pharmacy job, her family meals, and her real life.

Just making sure you know there’s qualified help for your PMOS.
You don’t need more fear, food rules, or another “foods to avoid” list.
You deserve support that helps you feel more confident around food—not afraid of it.
DM me INFO to get started.
Something I work on a lot with my clients inside BALANCE is mindfulness around food.
It can help prevent that all-or-nothing cycle, make travel and special moments feel easier, and help you actually enjoy your food instead of constantly labeling it as “good” or “bad.”
