The Wise City

The Wise City is an artful socially responsible civic engagement, service design, and product strategy practice started by Daniel Latorre. It's also network of change agents deeply focused on advancing peer to peer bottom-up movements renewing a social contract based on wise self-governance. Let's focus on individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working neighborhoods over bureaucratic regulations, resident collaboration over internal planning, responding to change over following a plan. Let's move away from outdated 20th century ideas of a technocratic “smart” city. A better world is possible, wisdom can be renewed, our cities are where this is happening.
