The human brain is one of the most complex structures in the known universe. Although it makes up only about 2% of your body weight, it consumes roughly 20% of your body's energy to keep billions of nerve cells communicating. Your brain never truly switches off—it remains active while you sleep, helping to regulate breathing, heartbeat, memory formation, and emotional processing. Every second, billions of electrical and chemical signals travel through its vast network of neurons, allowing you to think, learn, create, and adapt. Scientists continue to discover new insights about the brain, proving that this remarkable organ still holds many fascinating mysteries waiting to be understood.

Tardigrades, often called water bears, are microscopic animals famous for their incredible ability to survive extreme conditions. When their environment becomes too harsh, they enter a dormant state known as cryptobiosis, reducing their metabolism to nearly zero. In this state, they can endure freezing temperatures, intense heat, powerful radiation, the vacuum of space, and years without water. Once conditions improve, they rehydrate and become active again. Although they are astonishingly resilient, tardigrades are not truly indestructible—they can still die under prolonged or exceptionally severe conditions. Their remarkable survival abilities continue to fascinate scientists studying life's limits and the possibility of life beyond Earth.

The Moon is gradually moving away from Earth at an average rate of about 3.8 centimeters (1.5 inches) per year. Scientists measure this tiny change using laser reflectors left on the Moon by Apollo astronauts. As the Moon drifts farther away, Earth's rotation also slows very slightly, making our days become longer over millions of years. Hundreds of millions of years ago, a single day on Earth lasted only about 21 hours. Although the Moon is receding, the change is so slow that it has no noticeable effect on our daily lives. It's a fascinating reminder that even the Earth–Moon system is constantly evolving over geological time.
